DUST @ NMA events evolved from the historical performance context at the Australian Centre for Arts & Technology  (ACAT). The tradition remained with the Centre for New Media Arts (CNMA) and as a result Eleanor initiated the DUST partnership with The National Museum of Australia.

DUST was a collaborative performance, celebrating media art produced at the Australian National University, proudly sharing  with the event with the national public community and with kind support of the creative industries. DUST was successful as a result of outstanding artistic work, exceptional technical expertise, staff of ANU, NMA and many, many volunteers.
